This is going to be the best record ever made, by anyone.
I have always been a fan of the LBLD aka Little Black Lace Dress. And despite the fact that I already have many of them in my wardrobe, I really want the latest Pearl Lowe design for Peacocks. It was inspired by the vintage LBLD which her daughter Daisy wore as a bridesmaid dress at Pearl's wedding to Supergrass drummer, Danny Goffey.
I have just booked the holiday of a lifetime for July 2011. 2 weeks in Bali, Indonesia...BLISS.
I am stopping over for 2 days in Kuala Lumpur, Malasyia before flying to Bali and staying in Sanur Beach for the majority of the time, and also a few days in the artsy city of Ubud.
I am staying at the Puri Santrian and the Bali Spirit Hotel
How amazing. I feel so lucky to be alive!
Ever since purchasing Doreen Virtue's Magical Mermaid and Dolphin cards I've been kinda obsessed with Mermaids. They're one of those things that even though deep down in the bottom of your logical mind you know couldn't be real, there's still a tiny piece of you that really really hopes they are. Same with fairies...I've always been obsessed with them and will continue to talk to them in my garden regardless.
Having spent the majority of my teenage years RIOTING GRRL STYLE. I am intrigued by this new book.
This is something I have been pondering over for a while, but I now feel I am ready to take the plunge.
Home Exchange is where you swap your house for a number of weeks or longer with another person in a far off magical land. In my case, this would hopefully be the USA and I will hopefully find an exchange in Seattle at the beginning of April to make the annual pilgrimage that bit cheaper. I have been browsing numerous sites such as:
I am currently reading the New York Times Besteller (yes, really!) "Stori Telling" by Tori Spelling.
I have to say I love this girl. She's no prize winning author by any stretch of the imagination but she certainly is witty and has that unique ability of being able to laugh at herself without being self-deprecating. What I found interesting is just how similar her life is to mine, and probably thousands of other women which goes to prove that growing up in Beverley Hills and having a gazillionaire for a father doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things. She makes retarded decisions regarding men-folk, she has problems getting work, she argues with her mother constantly (mainly about interior design). Most surprising of all was the longterm relationships she had, first with a boyfriend who was mentally abusive to her and then to a husband who was emotionally uninvolved with her...wouldn't you think with all that money you could afford to upgrade to the PERFECT guy. Hopefully she has managed to do that with current husband, Dean. But it gives me hope in knowing it took her until her mid-30s to find him.
